Growing up, my father was a rancher and my mother an environmentally consciences outdoorsmen, they have engrained in me a sense of the land; it’s worth, use, and beauty and this has certainly influenced my art and my painting. I am an admirer of what the living world produces and a painter of the symbols of my environment. The mystery of a lone tree, the majesty of an on-looking horse, awaken in me a feeling of solitude that harkens me back to my childhood. The still emptiness of our western landscape has captured me, my family and I now call Buffalo, Wyoming home and it is here that I am fortunate enough to pursue my art, painting, photography, and raise two amazing little girls.

I currently work primarily as an acrylic artist. Subjects I paint include horses, moose, buffalo, other various wildlife, as well as other material in our natural world. Painting for me is an exploration of medium, color, and subject; a process that still maintains to excite and inspire me.
