My current body of work is an exploration of my experiences as a woman. These paintings are a celebration of surrendering; surrendering to injustice, surrendering to inequality, and surrendering to imperfections. Surrender and ‘defeat’ should not be confused. Although I surrender, I am not defeated; rather I am acknowledging the truth and deciding what role I can play in changing it. I am lifted up and I continue to grow with the belief that real change can happen at any moment.

My paintings are approachable and whimsical, thought provoking and heartbreaking at the same time, each one makes a subtle statement, but the statement is a profound reflection of the power of women.
